周璇生前拍攝了四十多部影片，兩百餘首歌曲流傳了幾十年。在三、四十年代她成為蜚聲海內外的一代歌星。

可是她的身世始終是個謎，動亂時代的腳步為她踏出一條曲折的生活道路，無情的社會又使她無法擺脫坎坷的命運，最後發瘋至死。

她在人間不滿四十年。受了近四十年折磨。她在波濤洶湧的時代潮流中掙扎，終於慘遭逆流淹沒.

她尋了一輩子的母親,但她留給人世的是父親一輩子不肯扔掉的老唱片...........

• Zhou Xuan (August 1, 1918 or 1920 – September 22, 1957) was a popular Chinese singer and film actress.
